      Frida a dance drama is a dynamic one woman full evening concert portraying the life and work of the late Mexican painter, Frida Kahlo. Licia, a NEA recipient, combines dance, drama and the visual drawing from Frida's body of art work and personal diaries.

     Apariciones de la Madre/Apparitions of the Mother is an evening long dance- theater work which explores southwesten Goddess mythology, past and present. Apariciones de la Madre combines dance and text to re-interpret the history surrounding one of the most enduring symbols of the Southwest, La Virgen de Guadalupe.
